Deck overview

This Abzan Enchantress deck is commanded by Anikthea, Hand of Erebos and focuses on generating compounding card advantage and board presence through enchantments. Early turns establish mana velocity and draw engines using classic enchantresses like Sythis, Harvest's Hand, Jukai Naturalist, and Sanctum Weaver. Sagas and self-mill effects stock the graveyard with versatile utility enchantments and heavy anthems. Once Anikthea enters the battlefield, she converts dead enchantments into 3/3 menace Zombie copies, triggering constellation effects and rapidly expanding the board. The deck wins by overwhelming opponents in combat with armies of Pegasus tokens, Angel tokens, and animated enchantments pumped by Boon of the Spirit Realm, Mirari's Wake, and Starfield of Nyx. Disruptive enchantments like Grasp of Fate and Collector Ouphe slow opposing strategies while breaking parity. The deck is resilient, highly redundant, and capable of pivoting to backup token generators if the commander is removed.
