Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is an aggressive Hero tribal and +1/+1 counter engine commanded by Captain America, Team Leader. The primary game plan revolves around curving out legendary Heroes, deploying the commander on Turn 3, and immediately capitalizing on granted haste, vigilance, and +1/+1 counters to push combat damage and trigger attack-based draw engines like Kindred Discovery, Reconnaissance Mission, and SP//dr, Piloted by Peni. As the Hero squad expands, global combat amplifiers such as War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, Door of Destinies, and Avengers Assemble! escalate the board into a lethal multi-target threat by Turn 6. The deck shields its aggressive board using flash protection pieces like Clever Concealment and Spectacular Spider-Man, while utilizing The Ozolith and recursion pieces like Winter Soldier, Reborn Avenger to rebuild quickly after sweepers.
