Deck overview

Lluwen, Imperfect Naturalist is the heart of a lands-in-the-graveyard token strategy. The deck plays sixty basic lands and an entire early game of self-mill spells such as Satyr Wayfinder, Glowspore Shaman, and Grisly Salvage, dumping lands into the graveyard as quickly as possible. Lluwen's activated ability then converts every land card in the graveyard into a 1/1 Worm token, with untap effects like Magewright's Stone, Seeker of Skybreak, and Civic Gardener offering the chance for extra activations once enough mana exists. Secondary paths include cheating out Cavalier of Thorns or Wayward Swordtooth with Genesis Wave and See the Unwritten, while Blood Artist and Cauldron of Essence produce incremental drain. The deck is extremely linear, with almost no interaction, so success rests entirely on resolving Lluwen and avoiding graveyard hate before the Worm count snowballs.
