Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius spellslinger control strategy helmed by Zethi, Arcane Blademaster. The primary game plan revolves around casting efficient low-mana instants in the early turns—such as spot removal, card filtering, and combat protection—to establish early board stability and fill the graveyard. On Turn 4 or 5, Zethi enters the battlefield kicked, exiling these key utility spells with kick counters. When Zethi attacks, she copies and allows you to cast every exiled spell, creating sustained card advantage, continuous spot removal, and repeated board shielding. Payoffs like Monastery Mentor and Deekah, Fractal Theorist convert these repeated casts into large armies of prowess Monks and scaling Fractals that overwhelm the table over two to three attack cycles. The deck relies on heavy instant-speed interaction and targeted protection rather than infinite combos to grind out victory.
