Commander: The Reaper, King No More

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Jund -1/-1 counter combo deck. The Reaper, King No More is a midgame value thief and removal piece, not the engine; the deck wants to spin token engines and sacrifice loops. The primary plan is to assemble one of several infinite loops - Mikaeus + Walking Ballista + a sacrifice outlet, Yawgmoth + Hapatra/Nest + Blood Artist/Zulaport drain, or persist loops with Puppeteer Clique/Quillspike/Phyrexian Altar. Cheap tutors and rituals accelerate assembly, while Defense Grid and Veil effects protect the kill. If the combo is stopped, Yawgmoth plus -1/-1 counter engines can grind damage/attrition, but winning without a loop is slow.
