Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking helms a Sultai Elf combo and midrange deck that transforms your graveyard into a toolbox of activated abilities. The primary strategy accelerates early mana using traditional Elf dorks, fills the graveyard with key utility creatures using Entomb, Buried Alive, or discard outlets, and lands Thranduil to assemble game-winning combinations. By inheriting the untap ability of Devoted Druid alongside counter generators like Immaculate Magistrate or Timberwatch Elf, Thranduil generates infinite mana and unbounded power. Secondary win conditions rely on classic Elfball swarm strategies, leveraging token generators like Lathril, Blade of the Elves and team overruns with Ezuri, Renegade Leader.
