Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Faerie flash and tempo control build led by Alela, Cunning Conqueror. The strategy focuses on operating entirely at instant speed, passing each turn with open mana to cast interaction, cantrips, or flash creatures during opponents' turns. Each first spell on an opponent's turn triggers Alela to create a 1/1 flying Faerie Rogue token. As the airborne swarm expands, dealing combat damage allows Alela to goad opposing threats, forcing opponents into combat with one another while clearing attack lanes. Card advantage engines such as Bident of Thassa, Faerie Mastermind, and Nymris, Oona's Trickster keep hands stocked with counterspells and removal. The game concludes through evasive combat damage augmented by Faerie lords like Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor and life drain from Obyra, Dreaming Duelist and Faerie Bladecrafter.
