Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive tribal strategy centered on Ayula, Queen Among Bears. Deploying Ayula on Turn 2 enables immediate value on Turn 3, turning every subsequently cast Bear into either two +1/+1 counters or a fight trigger to control opposing utility creatures. The mana base leverages potent ramp pieces such as Three Visits, Urza's Incubator, and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx to accelerate into midgame card draw engines like Guardian Project and Beorn the Fierce. Around Turn 5, the deck transitions from board control to a lethal clock by resolving mass pump effects like Overwhelming Stampede or Unnatural Growth. Trample enablers such as Brawn and Garruk's Uprising ensure that high-stat Bears push through blockers to eliminate players sequentially across Turns 5 through 7.
