Commander: Saruman, the White Hand

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Saruman, the White Hand commands a Grixis midrange spellslinger and Amass deck. The primary strategy revolves around casting noncreature spells to amass a massive Orc Army while granting Goblins and Orcs ward 2 for inherent protection. The deck translates spell velocity and mana acceleration into overwhelming board presence, utilizing tall token attacks alongside secondary engines like Sauron, the Dark Lord, and Lord of the Nazgul. Win conditions focus on punching through blockers using Rogue's Passage, The Black Gate, or Orcish Siegemaster trample damage, augmented by burn from Guttersnipe and Fiery Inscription, or resolving devastating mass reanimation with Living Death.
