Deck overview

This competitive Commander deck is a turbo combo list commanded by Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The strategy leverages dense fast mana and rituals to deploy Ob Nixilis ahead of curve, turning incidental 1-damage losses from opponents' fetchlands, painlands, and pinger creatures into an overwhelming stream of impulse card advantage and commander growth. The primary win condition pairs Ob Nixilis with All Will Be One or Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute, generating an infinite chain of +1/+1 counters and 1-damage triggers that burns out all three opponents in a single turn. Backed by efficient Rakdos tutors, the deck also contains compact backup win lines including Dualcaster Mage with Twinflame and Underworld Breach storm lines. Flash hate creatures like Opposition Agent and Orcish Bowmasters slow down opposing strategies while shielding pieces like Hexing Squelcher and Deflecting Swat ensure decisive, protected turn-3 combo turns.
