Format: Commander

Commander: Szarekh, the Silent King

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Mono-black Necron artifact deck built around Szarekh's attack-trigger mill and card selection. The primary plan is to get Szarekh online early, mill artifact creatures into the graveyard, then use Imotekh, Ghost Ark, and unearth to convert that graveyard into a wide token board. The secondary path is big-mana finishers: Caged Sun plus Sceptre of Eternal Glory lets Their Number Is Legion create a huge army, with Necron Overlord as an alternate life-drain kill. Szarekh is the engine rather than a win condition; Trazyn the Infinite is a toolbox support piece, not a hidden commander. The deck wins by overwhelming combat with buffed Necron tokens after one mass token-generation turn.
