1Thranduil Final (Copy)

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Sultai Elf deck is built around Thranduil, the Elvenking as a living activated-ability toolbox: it mills or buries Elf creatures so Thranduil gains their tap/untap and payoff abilities. The primary plan is to pair Devoted Druid's self-untap with Flourishing Defenses to make infinite green mana and infinite Elf tokens, then finish through Jarad's sacrifice drain or Ezuri's pump. The secondary plan is a classic Elfball beatdown using Elvish Archdruid, Ezuri, and Craterhoof. Graveyard fillers like Ripples of Undeath, Buried Alive, and Silvan Rally set up both plans. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around the primary face of Thranduil, the Elvenking.
