Deck overview

This Nekusar, the Mindrazer deck executes a group slug strategy centered on forced card draw and symmetrical discard. The game plan accelerates mana on early turns, deploys one or more damage-on-draw punishers by turn four, and casts mass-draw spells like Windfall and Wheel of Misfortune on turns five and six to burn all opponents simultaneously. The list features extensive redundancy for its primary win condition, utilizing Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, and Orcish Bowmasters alongside the commander. Although wheels provide opponents with fresh cards, the burst damage combined with disruptive engines like Teferi's Puzzle Box, Archfiend of Ifnir, and Dark Deal breaks opposing game plans and clears creature boards. Efficient countermagic like Swan Song and Deflecting Swat protects key spells, allowing the deck to close out the game within a single response cycle.
