Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Jeskai pillowfort and combat control deck led by Pramikon, Sky Rampart. Its core strategy focuses on restricting combat vectors, taxing enemy aggression, and deploying disruptive stax pieces to slow down the table. By casting Pramikon early, the deck dictates attack directions, forcing opponents into combat with each other while shielding its own life total behind cards like Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Dáin, Lord of the Iron Hills. Additional stax elements like Archon of Emeria, Cursed Totem, and Rest in Peace suppress opposing spell velocity, creature abilities, and graveyard abuse. The deck leverages goad effects from Disrupt Decorum and Vengeful Ancestor alongside token generators like Combat Calligrapher and Thopter Spy Network to whittle down life totals over extended turn cycles. If needed, Chameleon, Master of Disguise can copy Pramikon choosing the opposite direction to freeze all combat entirely, grinding out victory through attrition and passive burn from Roiling Vortex.
