Deck overview

This is a Boros spellslinger/graveyard-value deck helmed by Kirol, History Buff, built to exploit the "prepared" mechanic and the "whenever one or more cards leave your graveyard" trigger. The primary game plan is to fill the graveyard through self-mill, flashback, and discard outlets, then cast spells from the graveyard to trigger Kirol's copy ability and a constellation of payoff permanents like Burning Vengeance, Ark of Hunger, and Spirit Mascot. The deck wins through incremental damage from these payoffs, combat damage from a pumped board of tokens and evasive creatures, and the occasional explosive turn with Gisela, Blade of Goldnight doubling all damage. The commander is a value engine rather than a combo piece-losing it hurts but the deck's flashback and recursion suite can still execute. The deck is a midrange value pile that grinds advantage through repeated graveyard casting.
