Deck overview

Korvold, Fae-Cursed King turns nearly every expendable permanent into both a card and a +1/+1 counter. The deck accelerates into Korvold with Mana Vault, Sol Ring, Chrome Mox, creature mana, and sacrifice-based mana from Orcish Lumberjack and Phyrexian Tower. Fetch lands, Treasures, Foods, Squirrels, and expendable creatures provide material for the commander. The main game plan is to establish Korvold, draw through the deck, grow a flying attacker, and convert the resulting permanents into damage through Mayhem Devil, Marionette Apprentice, Mirkwood Bats, Nadier's Nightblade, or Zulaport Cutthroat. Tutors and broad interaction make the deck consistent as a midrange engine. Its main limitation is that value does not become a deterministic table kill: the deck needs combat steps, sufficient fodder, and several payoff pieces. It therefore applies strong pressure but does not reliably finish on a fixed fast clock.
