Deck overview

This Jund deck is commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch and focuses on -1/-1 counter synergies, creature suppression, and gradual life drain. The early game focuses on deploying efficient mana acceleration to cast Auntie Ool and key token generators like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons or Nest of Scarabs. In the midgame, the deck spreads -1/-1 counters across the battlefield using cards like Soul Snuffers, Carnifex Demon, and Contagion Clasp. This draws cards, drains opponents, and shrinks opposing boards. Opponents are locked out of combat through Kulrath Knight, while Necroskitter steals their dying creatures. The deck finishes games by overwhelming opponents with deathtouch swarms buffed by Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest, continuous life drain from Obelisk Spider, or an infinite loop between Blowfly Infestation and Nest of Scarabs.
