Loki Villains HTC by Naqraumor

Format: Commander

Commander: Loki, the Deceiver

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain tribal combat deck led by Loki, the Deceiver. You win by building a board of Villains, attacking with Loki to create a tapped and attacking copy of your best Villain each combat, and drawing cards whenever Villains deal combat damage. The copy is an Illusion and you sacrifice it at the next end step, so Loki rewards you for attacking every turn rather than building a permanent army. Key payoffs include anthem Villains like The Squadron Sinister and Doctor Octopus, Master Planner, token makers like Crimson Cowl, Master of Evil and Mysterio, Master of Illusion, and copy effects like Spark Double and Multiversal Incursion. There are no infinite combos. You close games through repeated combat damage, often with flying, menace, and +2/+2 anthems, and you can take an extra turn with Kang the Conqueror to push the final attacks.
