Commander: Meria, Scholar of Antiquity

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Meria, Scholar of Antiquity is the engine of a Gruul artifact-value deck that floods the board with cheap and zero-cost artifacts, converts them into green mana and exiled-card advantage, then turns that engine into a win through Aetherflux Reservoir life-bursts, a massive Walking Ballista, or evasive artifact combat. Daretti, Scrap Savant acts as a hidden commander-style recursion engine, while Mystic Forge, Kuldotha Forgemaster, and Goblin Welder find and reuse key pieces. The deck is fast and resilient but lacks a compact two-card infinite combo; it wins by chaining artifacts and protecting the chain long enough to cash in a payoff.
