Deck overview

This is a Gruul land-animation beatdown deck built around Toph, Hardheaded Teacher. It aims to cast spells to make hasty land creatures, use Lessons to grow them with extra counters, and drown opponents in trampling, high-power attackers. Secondary paths lean on Firebending mana from Zuko and Fire Sages to chain spells, plus fight/damage removal to clear blockers and protect a board of large creatures. Toph doubles as a one-shot instant/sorcery recursion when she enters. There is no hidden commander. The deck is not a combo deck; it finishes through repeated combat damage, usually with Goreclaw, Badgermole, and Bitter Work drawing extra gas.
