Deck overview

This deck executes a focused Gruul big-mana stompy strategy led by Ruby, Daring Tracker. Ruby guarantees a Turn 2 ramp piece from the command zone, perfectly enabling the deck's dense array of four-mana land-ramp sorceries like Skyshroud Claim and Explosive Vegetation on Turn 3. By Turn 4, the deck achieves seven mana to deploy commanding threats and value engines such as Vaultborn Tyrant, Etali, Primal Conqueror, and Chimil, the Inner Sun. Turn 5 marks the critical onset, where combat accelerators like Xenagos, God of Revels and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus turn massive bodies into lethal attacks. While the deck boasts rapid land velocity and resilient post-wipe mana reserves, it remains vulnerable due to a near-total absence of proactive interaction, stack disruption, and cheap protection spells.
