Rats

Format: Commander

Commander: Marrow-Gnawer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a rat-tribal token aggro deck built around Marrow-Gnawer's exponential token production. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap rats, convert them into a massive army using Marrow-Gnawer's sacrifice ability, and then swing with unblockable fear through anthem pumps. Secondary lines use discard synergies, Crypt Rats as a damage outlet, and the transformed side of Tribute to Horobi to steal opponent rat tokens. The commander is integral as the only token multiplier, but cards like Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm and Rat King, Pale Piper provide incidental recursion and draw. There is no hidden commander; the deck is entirely centered on Marrow-Gnawer.
