Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Dimir blink, theft, and combo strategy led by Azula, Cunning Usurper. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early mana rocks and cost reducers to establish repeatable flicker engines with Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, Conjurer's Closet, and Displacer Kitten. These engines exploit high-impact enters-the-battlefield creatures such as Baleful Strix, Mulldrifter, and Agent of Treachery to accumulate massive card advantage and dismantle opposing boards. Disruptive elements like Opposition Agent, Dauthi Voidwalker, and Mornsong Aria actively tax and restrict opponents' development. The deck transitions into a game-winning state by assembling an infinite mana combo using Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake. Once infinite mana is generated, Deadeye Navigator blinks itself to pair with Gray Merchant of Asphodel, draining all opponents for lethal life loss on the spot. Backed by cheap counterspells and protective flicker instants, the deck presents a resilient and highly synergistic control-combo shell.
