Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger combo deck piloted by Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan revolves around enchanting Vivi with 'draw on damage' effects such as Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals one damage to each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast, every spell replaces itself by drawing three cards. Vivi's activated mana ability converts accumulated +1/+1 counters into a burst of blue and red mana, creating a self-fueling storm engine. Amplifiers like Harmonic Prodigy, Veyran, Voice of Duality, and Fiery Inscription double damage output and trigger density. As a backup win condition, the deck features the classic two-card infinite damage combo between Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity. The deck is protected by cheap countermagic, redirection, and hexproof enablers.
