Deck overview

This Farmer Cotton deck is an explosive Selesnya token and Food swarm strategy. The deck accelerates in the early turns using mana dorks, land ramp, and specialized token-mana engines like Jaheira, Friend of the Forest, Cryptolith Rite, and Gaea's Cradle. On Turn 4, it casts Farmer Cotton for a moderate X value to flood the battlefield with 1/1 Halfling creature tokens and Food artifact tokens. Token multipliers like Anointed Procession and Mondrak, Glory Dominus double this output, turning small mana investments into massive armies. On Turn 5, the deck converts its overwhelming creature count into lethal table-wide damage using overrun finishers such as Craterhoof Behemoth, Moonshaker Cavalry, or Finale of Devastation. To protect its vulnerable go-wide board state, the deck packs efficient defensive spells including Clever Concealment, Flawless Maneuver, and Dawn's Truce, allowing it to survive sweepers and close out games rapidly.
