Black Mage Kuja by Rivere

Format: Commander

Commander: Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kuja, Genome Sorcerer is not a hidden-combo commander: the front face creates a Wizard token and flips to Trance Kuja, Fate Defied once there are four Wizards. The deck is built to make that flip fast, then convert every noncreature spell into repeated damage through Wizard pingers, with Harmonic Prodigy multiplying triggers and Trance Kuja doubling the damage. There is no hidden commander here; both faces matter and the deck is clearly built around the front face's transformation into its damage-doubling back face. Secondary paths include Bolas's Citadel, Kefka, and Rionya's copied Wizards, while the spell chain matters more than any single finisher.
