Deck overview

This mono-red deck harnesses the explosive synergy between devotion to red and discard-based burn. Commanded by Clive, Ifrit's Dominant // Ifrit, Warden of Inferno, the deck deploys early mana acceleration alongside resilient discard pingers like Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Brallin, Skyshark Rider, and Magmakin Artillerist. When Clive enters the battlefield on Turn 5, its ability discards your hand and draws cards equal to your red devotion. This immediately triggers massive noncombat damage across all opponents while completely refilling your hand. On the following turn, the deck leverages damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation, wheels, or copy spells to burn out the table. The list also includes the compact Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame combo as an alternate win route. A suite of low-cost redirection and counterspells provides robust protection against spot removal and countermagic.
