Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Mono-Green Bear Kindred Stompy list commanded by Beorn the Fierce. The primary game plan develops early mana velocity through efficient dorks and lands before establishing a resilient tribal board of Bears and changelings. Once Beorn enters the battlefield, the commander provides immediate card advantage by converting creatures into Bears, granting permanent trample counters, and drawing two cards per combat step. The deck accelerates into overwhelming board states using explosive mana generators like Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, Circle of Dreams Druid, and Three Tree City, while sustaining immense hand sizes through engines such as The Great Henge and Guardian Project. The win condition centers on decisive combat steps empowered by overrun payoffs including Craterhoof Behemoth, Pathbreaker Ibex, and Finale of Devastation. Robust protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Veil of Summer defend the board against opposing interaction, allowing the deck to close out the game reliably across Turns 6 and 7.
