Tom, bert e william by Onofrio

Format: Commander

Commander: Tom, Bert, and William

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tom, Bert, and William is a sacrifice-driven draw engine in a Golgari deck that turns dying creatures and -1/-1 counters into advantage. The primary plan is to assemble Hapatra, Nest of Scarabs, and/or Flourishing Defenses with Blowfly Infestation, then sacrifice tokens to the commander to draw into cards while the loop creates more deathtouch snakes, insects, and elves. Proliferate effects and infect creatures double as a poison plan, with Triumph of the Hordes as the usual overrun finish. Reanimation spells keep key pieces coming back. The commander's first death turns it into an artifact, so the deck tries to keep it on board as a long-term draw outlet rather than a battleground creature.
