Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Red Dragon Tribal deck led by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary strategy focuses on deploying cost reducers and mana rocks during the early turns to accelerate into Lathliss by turn 5. Once the commander is established, every subsequent Dragon spell creates an additional 5/5 flying Dragon token, doubling the deck's board presence. High-impact dragons such as Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Utvara Hellkite turn every creature drop into direct burn damage and exponential board growth. While the deck boasts high threat density and resilient standalone beaters that function without the commander, it operates almost entirely at sorcery speed and lacks countermagic to protect against mass board wipes. Red sweepers like Blasphemous Act and Chain Reaction keep opposing ground armies clear while your dragons dominate the skies to close out the game by turn 8.
