Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Edgar Markov builds this deck around Eminence: every Vampire spell creates a free 1/1, so the primary plan is to flood the board, stack anthem effects, and convert Edgar's haste attack into permanent +1/+1 counters. Secondary paths include aristocrat drains via Blood Artist and Cruel Celebrant, plus life-drain attackers like Sanctum Seeker and Malakir Bloodwitch. Edgar is both engine and finisher; casting him on turn 4 turns a wide board into a lethal swing, while the Eminence token stream works from the command zone. Edgar, Charmed Groom // Edgar Markov's Coffin acts as a hidden commander in the 99, offering recursive anthem and token production on its back face. There is no infinite combo; combat and incremental drain are the actual win conditions.
