Deck overview

This is a Sultai X-spell combo list helmed by Zaxara, the Exemplary. Zaxara taps for two mana of any color and, whenever you cast a spell with {X} in its cost, creates a Hydra token with X +1/+1 counters. The 99 backs that engine with cheap dorks, rocks, and land-ramp, then converts the mana into infinite loops and oversized X payoffs. Primary wins are infinite mana into Exsanguinate or Walking Ballista, built from Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura on Zaxara or another net-positive mana creature, from Isochron Scepter plus Dramatic Reversal, or from Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy plus Basalt Monolith. A parallel combat plan grows enormous Hydras under Doubling Season, Primal Vigor, Branching Evolution, and Kalonian Hydra, then closes with Finale of Devastation for ten or more. Zaxara is a convenient four-mana rock and token factory, but the 99 already contains enough standalone combo lines that the deck still functions if the commander is answered.
