Power Bottoming with River Song by user6278315

Format: Commander

Commander: River Song

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

River Song leads an Izzet control and combo deck that weaponizes library manipulation and forced opponent searches. The primary game plan uses River Song's unique bottom-draw static ability alongside graveyard-to-library recursion like Soldevi Digger and Tomb Trawler to establish an infinite extra-turns loop with Time Warp or Temporal Manipulation. Alternatively, the deck punishes opposing mana bases and search effects with cards like From the Ashes, Field of Ruin, and Cleansing Wildfire, triggering River Song's Spoilers ability to deal lethal burn. Backed by extensive countermagic, copy spells, and cost reducers, the deck locks down the board while assembling its decisive combo loops.
