Deck overview

This is a Rakdos deck built around converting damage into mana. The commander, Smaug the Impenetrable, is an indestructible, hasty 8/7 flier whose trigger creates Treasure whenever he takes noncombat damage, so the deck's red mass-damage spells and X-burn spells double as rituals. Supporting engines like Smaug, Wicked Worm, Smaug the Magnificent, Black Waltz No. 3, and Ingenious Artillerist turn Treasures and spell-casting into card draw and repeatable damage, while City on Fire triples the entire plan. The amass-Goblins package buys early time, feeds convoke, and discounts Blasphemous Act. The primary win is one explosive treasure-burn turn: hit Smaug with a wipe, then fire Comet Storm or trigger Ingenious Artillerist for lethal. Combat with the Smaug dragons and an alternate poison route through Vraska, Betrayal's Sting are backup paths. There are no infinite combos.
