Deck overview

Kytheon, Hero of Akros // Gideon, Battle-Forged fronts a mono-white planeswalker war-machine. The deck leans on the full Gideon planeswalker suite, cheap creatures, and token makers to flip Kytheon early, then protects the walker suite with Deification, Flawless Maneuver, and indestructible forms. Its primary plan is to chip with animated Gideons and finish with an anthem such as True Conviction or Caretaker's Talent; emblems from Gideon, Ally of Zendikar and Gideon of the Trials provide a slow but sticky lock. Secondary paths include angel/token swarms from Emeria's Call and Overlord of the Mistmoors. The hidden commander is the Gideon subtype itself, enabled by planeswalker tutors and several 'search for Gideon' cards.
