Deck overview

This Gruul deck uses Bello, Bard of the Brambles to turn high-cost artifacts and enchantments into aggressive combat threats and card advantage engines. On your turn, Bello animates every non-Equipment artifact and non-Aura enchantment with mana value 4 or greater into a 4/4 Elemental with indestructible, haste, and combat damage card draw. The early game focuses on deploying 1- to 2-mana ramp to cast Bello ahead of curve. Once Bello is active, dropping 4-mana or higher permanents immediately yields 4/4 attackers that draw cards upon dealing combat damage. Damage amplifiers like Fiery Emancipation, City on Fire, and Unnatural Growth quickly scale the board's offensive output to lethal levels. The deck also contains an infinite combat loop with Aggravated Assault and Nature's Will. Robust protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Heroic Intervention shield Bello from targeted removal, letting the deck overwhelm opponents through resilient, recurring combat pressure.
