Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis midrange combat engine that blends Pirate tribal synergies with Vehicle assault, piloted by Edward Kenway. Early turns focus on establishing mana ramp and low-cost creatures to enable Kenway's arrival by turn 4. Once assembled, tapping Pirates and Vehicles in combat or crewing yields a burst of Treasure tokens each end step, while connecting Vehicles exile cards from opposing libraries to cast. The deck converts this mana and card advantage into lethal combat pressure on turn 6 using evasive vehicles like Thunderhawk Gunship, theft enablers like Coercive Recruiter, and stat-pumps like Gemcutter Buccaneer. Because it relies on board-centric combat and runs minimal protection spells, it is vulnerable to sweepers, though high land counts and Treasure reserves allow it to rebuild quickly.
