green stompy by user6423207

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghalta, Primal Hunger

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck is helmed by Ghalta, Primal Hunger, using cost reduction from creatures' total power to deploy a massive 12/12 trampler for a pittance. The primary game plan is to accelerate with mana dorks and ramp spells, then chain cheap or free giant creatures-including Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, Cultivator Colossus, and Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar-while leveraging power-doubling effects like Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus and Unnatural Growth to roll over opponents. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage, with no infinite combos. It relies on breakneck speed in deploying threats and a modest protection suite to push through disruption.
