Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord commands a Grixis midrange and combat engine that overwhelms opponents through recursive value, heavy amass triggers, and relentless card filtering. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration and continuous Ring-temptation engines through cards like Call of the Ring and Bilbo, Retired Burglar. Once Sauron resolves, every opponent spell and combat strike expands your Orc Army while cycling your hand into fresh threats. The deck closes games by scaling a massive Army, applying high commander damage, and enhancing combat with Bolg, Erebor's Reckoning and Desert Were-Worm, or burning out tables with The Great Goblin.
