Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger Combat Storm strategy led by Fire Lord Azula. It accelerates through 2-drop mana rocks and cost reducers like Baral, Chief of Compliance and Stormcatch Mentor to deploy Azula ahead of curve. Once Azula attacks, her firebending ability generates two red mana while her triggered ability duplicates every instant cast during combat. The deck leverages this doubling effect to generate extreme card velocity and mana with spells like Frantic Search, Seething Song, and Big Score. Win conditions include exponential combat damage via Bulk Up, wide burn damage through Guttersnipe and Vivi Ornitier, and an infinite creature combo using Dualcaster Mage with Irenicus's Vile Duplication. A suite of free commander interaction spells provides reliable defense while setting up a decisive victory by Turn 6.
