Deck overview

This Mono-Green stompy deck is led by Surrak and Goreclaw, focusing on aggressive mana acceleration, high-density card draw tied to creature power, and explosive trampling combat steps. In the early turns, it deploys efficient 1-mana and 2-mana dorks like Llanowar Elves, Delighted Halfling, and Fanatic of Rhonas to establish strong mana velocity. On Turn 4, casting the commander grants all subsequent nontoken creatures an additional +1/+1 counter, trample, and immediate haste. This eliminates the usual summoning sickness bottleneck that plagues traditional green creature decks. On Turn 5, dropping massive threats such as Railway Brawler, Pathbreaker Ibex, Vaultborn Tyrant, or Unnatural Growth triggers drawing engines and presents an overwhelming combat wave. The deck protects its proactive game plan using uncounterable effects like Allosaurus Shepherd and board protection such as Heroic Intervention. It consistently closes the game by Turn 6 across one opponent response cycle.
