Deck overview

This Esper reanimator deck is helmed by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist, leveraging a dense discard-outlet suite to turn any creature card in hand into a discounted 4/4 Zombie token. The core plan is to loot through the deck, bin high-impact creatures, then either reanimate them directly or create Hashaton copies to overwhelm opponents with value bombs like Archon of Cruelty, Ashen Rider, and Consecrated Sphinx. The deck also runs a robust reanimation package (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Living Death) and token payoffs like Marneus Calgar and Nesting Dovehawk to convert incremental discard triggers into lasting advantage. While not a fast combo deck, it grinds through card selection and recursive threats, generating inevitability through repeated ETB triggers and a massive threat density.
