Tarkir: Sultai Arisen - Teval (Upgraded) by user4475395

Format: Commander

Commander: Teval, the Balanced Scale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Teval, the Balanced Scale leads a Sultai graveyard and lands grind deck with no infinite combo. Teval attacks to mill three and return a tapped land, and every card that leaves your graveyard creates a 2/2 Zombie Druid. The deck fills the graveyard with Stitcher's Supplier, Grapple with the Past, Life from the Loam and dredge, then converts leave-triggers (Syr Konrad, Insidious Roots, Teval's Judgment, Tormod) and landfall (Tatyova, Lotus Cobra, Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm) into cards, mana, and a wide board. Wins come from combat with Overwhelming Stampede, drain with Syr Konrad/Cauldron of Essence/Jarad, or mass reanimation via Living Death, Afterlife from the Loam and Rise of the Dark Realms. Muldrotha and The Gitrog Monster serve as hidden engines.
