Deck overview

Thorin Oakenshield is a Boros voltron deck that races through opponents with commander damage while using the storied keyword to tax opposing spells once three artifacts, legendaries, and/or sagas are on board. The primary plan is to equip Thorin with overlapping Equipment-Hero's Heirloom, Lizard Blades, Champion's Helm-and finish with double strike combined with Mjolnir's damage doubling. A Dwarf-tribal subtheme provides token generation, card advantage, and alternate legendary attackers. Sagas such as War of the Last Alliance tutor the right legendary and grant double strike. Hellkite Tyrant offers a long-game artifact-count alt-win, but the deck usually wins by one-shotting opponents in sequence.
