Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Wraith tribal and reanimator engine commanded by Sauron, the Dark Lord. The primary strategy focuses on deploying 2-mana acceleration into a Turn 4 or 5 Sauron, capitalizing on opponents' spells to amass a massive Orc Army. When an Army connects in combat, the Ring tempts you, allowing Sauron to discard your hand and draw four fresh cards. This card velocity fuels graveyard setup using Entomb, Buried Alive, and looting spells. The deck achieves critical onset around Turn 6 by resolving mass reanimation spells like Patriarch's Bidding, Living Death, or Haunting Voyage to return multiple copies of Nazgûl and Lord of the Nazgûl. With Anger and Wonder granting haste and flying, these pumped Wraiths eliminate all opponents in two combat rotations by Turn 8. Archfiend of Ifnir and Terror of the Peaks provide asymmetric board control and direct burn. The deck operates with high synergy, strong card draw, and punishing ward protection.
