Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-White Voltron strategy spearheaded by Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice. The game plan revolves around casting cheap Auras to trigger Light-Paws's direct-to-battlefield tutoring ability, quickly assembling a lethal, evasive, and heavily protected commander. By tutoring specific Auras on demand, the deck secures indestructible status via Shielded by Faith, ward and lifelink through Sheltered by Ghosts, unblockability from Spirit Mantle, and massive power scaling with Ethereal Armor. Supported by 45 basic Plains, the deck plays smoothly on curve, using asymmetric board wipes like Winds of Rath and Slash the Ranks to clear opposing blockers while keeping its enchanted threat intact. While it lacks instant-speed stack interaction and closes games sequentially in combat, its immense tutor consistency and layered defensive Auras make it a rapid, resilient threat in combat-oriented multiplayer pods.
