Deck overview

This deck is an Esper reanimator and Zombie synergy strategy commanded by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist. Hashaton turns any discarded creature card into a 4/4 black Zombie token copy for {2}{U}, effectively cheating expensive, game-ending threats into play early. The deck packs redundant discard outlets such as Putrid Imp, Psychic Frog, and Frantic Search to pitch colossal bombs like Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Razaketh, the Foulblooded, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, and Sheoldred, Whispering One. Once these 4/4 token copies enter the battlefield, they decimate opposing boards, establish tutoring dominance, and lock down creature-based strategies. The deck supports this core engine with Zombie tribal lords, aristocrat life drain from Corpse Knight and Wayward Servant, and robust card flow engines like Rhystic Study and Cryptbreaker. A dense package of efficient Esper removal and protective counterspells ensures the deck can disrupt opposing plans while shielding its own board.
