Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Zombie Aristocrats strategy led by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. It focuses on generating disposable Zombie tokens, converting them into continuous card advantage and mana, and draining opponents out through sacrifice synergies. The deck accelerates through two-mana rocks and uses graveyard tutors like Buried Alive and Entomb to prepare critical pieces. Its primary win condition is an infinite sacrifice loop utilizing Gravecrawler and Phyrexian Altar alongside drain engines such as Diregraf Captain, Plague Belcher, or Bastion of Remembrance. Backup plans include mass reanimation via Living Death or Zombie Apocalypse, creating an overwhelming token army with Poppet Stitcher // Poppet Factory, or leveraging The Scarab God for attrition and control. With efficient counterspells and asymmetric creature control from Noxious Ghoul, the deck effectively protects its game plan while disrupting opposing boards.
