Deck overview

Kenrith, the Returned King heads a five-color lifegain deck that aims to convert life gained into damage, card advantage, and tokens. The primary plan is to assemble Exquisite Blood with a drain payoff-Enduring Tenacity, Vito, Marauding Blight-Priest, or Sanguine Bond-so any single opponent life loss becomes an infinite loop. A secondary beatdown path uses Griffin Aerie, Resplendent Angel, and Cathars' Crusade to go wide. Kenrith supplies haste, draw, lifegain, counters, and reanimation, but no combo needs him; there is no hidden commander. The deck functions well without ever casting him, though his {R} ability is a convenient way to start the combo trigger.
