Deck overview

This Esper deck pairs Queza, Augur of Agonies with an Advisor tribal framework and incremental card-draw engines. The primary game plan curves out early utility Advisors like Grand Arbiter Augustin IV and Kambal, Profiteering Mayor, establishing steady card advantage through permanents such as Folk Hero, Kumena's Awakening, and Sigarda's Splendor. Queza weaponizes this card flow into steady life drain while keeping life totals high. The midgame builds board presence using token generators like Ominous Seas, Boss's Chauffeur, and Release to Memory, before closing out games through scaling combat pressure from Ethereal Absolution, Skyboon Evangelist, or Kaya, Intangible Slayer. A supporting Aura package helmed by Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice and Pearl-Ear, Imperial Advisor provides versatile creature neutralization and card draw. While the deck boasts flexible removal and taxing effects, its low land count of 30 lands and light ramp suite leave it vulnerable to mana friction and board wipes.
